For the person who holds the answers

You already know the things it needs to ask.

Someone is building software for you with an AI assistant. It is fast, and it is confident, and every so often it is confidently wrong — because the answer was never in the code. It was in your head. Askance is how it asks you instead of guessing.

If a developer sent you this link, they are about to invite you. Nothing to set up, no new app to live in.

What it looks like for you

Three steps, and two of them are not yours

Your time is the scarce thing here. The whole product is arranged around not wasting it.

  1. A question arrives

Only about the things you have said you know. It comes already written up — the background, the options, and the one the AI thinks is right.

  2. You answer, usually with one tap

Confirm the recommended option, or pick another, or write more if it matters. On your phone, between other things. There is nothing to install.

  3. The work carries on

Your answer goes straight back to whoever is building, and it is kept — so the same question never reaches you twice.

What you control

You are steering, not supervising

There are three moments where a person should be able to step in. Most tools give you one.

Before

Directions

What should get built, and in what order. You do not have to write a specification — you say what matters and what it is for, and the AI proposes the rest for you to accept or change.

During

Questions

The part nothing else does. When the AI hits something only a person could know — how your pricing really works, which exception is the real one — it asks you instead of guessing, and gets on with whatever else it can while it waits.

After

Corrections

When what came back is not right, you say so in plain words. It is a note to the AI about its work, not a complaint about a person, and it goes to the top of what gets fixed.

The honest small print

What this asks of you

  • You choose your topics. You are only asked about the things you said you know. Nobody can route a question to you on a subject you never claimed.
  • You are rarely the bottleneck. The AI is told to carry on with other work rather than sit and wait, so answering in ten minutes or tomorrow usually costs the same. Now and then a question really is the one thing holding everything up — those are the ones worth interrupting yourself for, and you will be able to tell which.
  • No tool to live in. An email arrives, you open a link, you answer. There is no channel to watch and no standup to attend.
  • Your answers become the record. Every question and answer is kept and searchable, so you explain a thing once rather than every time someone new joins.

Questions often carry real detail about your business, so they are encrypted in transit and at rest, visible only to the people on that project, and never written to our logs.

Waiting on an invitation?

Your developer creates the project and adds you by email. When they do, you will get a message with a link — that is the whole setup.
